There are plenty of ways to get involved to help us save the lives of cats and kittens in Chiang Mai. Whether you are looking to adopt, foster, donate or volunteer with us, there's something for everyone!
Adoptions
With so many rescues coming into our care, it's our number one priority to get each cat healthy and ready for a loving home. Without cat lovers like you, who are ready to adopt a rescued cat, we wouldn't be able to keep rescuing more cats.
Adopt, Don't shop!
If you're ready to adopt a furry companion of your own, read all about our adoptions process, and browse available cats and kittens here:
Fostering
Not ready to commit to taking care of a cat for the full duration of its life? Fostering is an incredible way to contribute to our mission that also gives you the joys of spending more time with felines in your home.
We are always in need of foster carers to help us with the sheer amount of rescued animals we take in. If you're interested in volunteering with us in this way, read more about signing up as an Adopt Meow Foster carer:
Donations
Many of our supporters aren't able to adopt or foster, and instead choose to support our work through donations. Everything we do is 100% funded by donations, and every single baht we recieve goes straight towards helping the cats. So if you're able to donate any amount at all, find the donation details here:
Sponsorships
For those of you who want to donate on a more regular basis, we have sponsorships available for the adult cats that live in our rescue shelter on more of a permanent basis. Sponsoring a cat on a monthly basis comes with extra perks, including regular updates about your sponsored cat. Get involved here:
Volunteering
We are a very small, locally run rescue based in Mae Rim. Please note the following before applying to volunteer with us:
*Volunteers must have their own transport to and from Mae Rim
*We cannot offer volunteer visas, sponsorship, accommodation, or transport
*We are only able to accept volunteers who can commit reliably to agreed days and tasks
*Short visits, drop-ins, or “come and see” volunteering are not suitable for our setup.
At this time, volunteer opportunities are limited and offered selectively, based on availability and the level of commitment offered.
If you feel you meet the above requirements and can commit consistently, please reach out.
Thank you for understanding and for caring about animal welfare.
